Land Partitioning / Forking

Land owner will meet a surveyor with the land security key (provided in the owner’s deed) and the NIC.

Surveyor can initialize a land partitioning transaction by navigating to the land partitioning section in the sidebar after log into the application.

A land transaction request that is initialized by the surveyor will be sent to three public notaries associated with the land or adjoining lands.

In first window, surveyor can enter the land security key and the land owner NIC number. Then proceed to next step.

Next window will retrieve data related to the land owner, land plan and land deed. Surveyor can verify the owner information by comparing the retrieved data with the NIC.

In the next step, surveyor can see the land pedigree (folio) records information.

After that, in the next step, surveyor will have to enter the land partitioning information related to two child lands.

At the final step, surveyor will initialize a transaction commiting request by clicking the commit button. The blockchain application will be validate the child land information before initializing a transaction request.
